and place into the microwave. |

The cooking time will vary from microwave to microwave. In my microwave it takes 7 minutes for one ear of corn and 8 minutes for two. I haven't tried more than that.
If your microwave does not have an automatic turntable, turn the plate half way through cooking.

When you have finished bombarding your corn on the cob with radiation remove it from the microwave.
Careful, they will be very hot! |

Either let the corn sit for 10-15 minutes to cool before shucking or shuck in the sink under cool running water. The silk should come right off no problem. |

I use stick-butter and roll my corn on the cob around on top of it to thoroughly coat it with buttery goodness.
